Rhoads' most recent work derives from coastal Washington County, Maine, where she spends her summers painting. Focusing on the clam flats of Duck Cove in Roque Bluffs, Rhoads gives the viewer a unique view of the Down East working waterfront along Little Kennebec Bay.
